Ingredients
Aloo Paratha Stuffing
Aloo Paratha Dough
  • 3 cup Wheat Flour Atta
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt As par test
  • 3 teaspoon Oil
  • 1 cup Water Use as per requirement for kneading

Stuffing for aloo paratha recipe
  1. First of all put all the potatoes in the pressure cooker to make it boiled properly. Left potatoes for cook for 12 to 15 minutes or 3 to 4 whistles of pressure cooker, so the potatoes can boil perfectly.
  2. So now you have boiled potatoes, now you have to mash it properly, you can mash it by pav bhaji masher or by your own hands, depends on you.
  3. Now add red chili powder, garam masala powder, cumin and coriander powder, mango powder and salt as par test in the mashed potatoes which are mentioned in the ingredients.
  4. Also fry the green chilies and mashed garlic and add it in to the mashed potatoes and mix the potatoes stuffing properly
  5. Now the stuffing is ready for filling to the rolled balls of dough
Kneading dough for aloo paratha recipe
  1. Now take wheat flour in to a still basket to make the dough.
  2. Than make a hole in the center and put the oil, salt and half cup of water.
  3. Now mix all things together and add water as per requirement to knead the dough properly. The dough should not too smooth or too tight. knead the dough finely.
  4. Now the dough is ready to making bolls and rolling it.
Rolling of dough balls and filling the stuffing
  1. Now make small or medium size of balls from the dough as par your requirements.
  2. And than roll it upto 3 to 4 inches in round like a chapati.
  3. Now add the stuffing at the center of the rolled boll of the dough and seal the rolled dough and round it with your fingers.
  4. Now roll it with the rolling pin to make paratha in to a round. give pressure very gently on all sides during rolling it.
  5. Press very smoothly and roll it so the the stuffing dues not come out from it.
  6. Spread some dry flour on it and roll the dough and make the diameter around 7 to 8 inch.
  7. Repeat this instruction with the other dough balls which is left behind.
  8. Now the rolled parathas is ready to fry in the tawa.
Fry the parathas on the tawa
  1. Mount the tawa in the gas stove and let it hot properly.
  2. Now place the rolled paratha on the tawa and let it toast a little.
  3. Than flip the paratha and place it from another side which is pending to toast.
  4. Now let the paratha toast for a while and than apply the oil or butter around the paratha and let it fry for a while.
  5. Than flip the paratha and place on tawa and apply oil or butter again around on pending side to fry it.
  6. Cook the paraths properly until it take a color of some lite brown from both side.
  7. Repeat this procedure on all the panding rolled parathas.
  8. Now the paraths is ready to serve.
Recipe Notes
  1. Fry the mashed green chilies and mashed garlic
  2. Mash potatoes properly so the stuffing become some smooth and it can be filled in the dough very well.
  3. Serve the parathas with curd, lemon, chopped onions, and whole dried chilies.
