  1. Soak the white peas in warm water for 6 to 7 hours and after this put in to the pressure cooker and let it cook for 4 to 5 whistles so it can cook properly and become smooth to eat.
  2. Now grind onion and tomato separately in grinder and make its puree.
  3. Now take a pan and put the oil in to it. Start burner and let it heat the pan. Now add ginger garlic pest and let it cook for 1 minute.
  4. Than put the onion puree in to the pan and let it cook for 5 to 7 minutes until the oil leaves the mixture.
  5. Now add the tomato puree in to the pan and let it cook for 5 minutes.
  6. Now add all the masalas and salt as per test and let it cook for a minute.
  7. Now add the water into the pan than also add the boiled white peas in to the pan and let it cook for 5 minutes.
  8. Make puree of besan and mix with usal as you want as think it is.
  9. The Usal is now ready to serve.
  10. Serve the usal with pav, chopped onions and sev. Also serve the lemon water and tari.
